The art is really nice. A cool style I haven't seen before. The expressions and poses are really fantastic too. So so yummy.
I haven't encountered a writing style exactly like this in a vn before. I think I've seen it in books. It felt kind of homey, and you did it well.
I think Grace should flirt with everyone forever. MILF rights.
First and foremost, a huge shoutout to this VN for featuring characters with body shapes that aren't all just "perfectly shaped conventionally attractive anime girl"—and for having a variety of expressive poses for them, at that! I'd also like to take a moment to appreciate the CGs, especially the gorgeously rendered one of Grace at the bar~
Second, I respect the choice to use a stream of consciousness writing style. It's a difficult technique to execute well, not least because it's easy for it to boil over and inundate the reader with extraneous chatter, but I'd say you're doing a good job so far~ In particular, the transitions between following each of the different characters was quite fluid, and felt very natural.
Great work so far! I'm looking forward to the upcoming acts, heheh~
Playing this was so much fun... Love Luce's brand of Needing To Be Seen A Certain Way so much, it gives her an incredible amount of depth and makes me very excited to see how all these characters continue to develop and drag each other down and up as it goes. I'm sure that's normal for women. Play this game!!!!!
This is so good so far! The writing and character designs are super strong and I love how the characters are all spiraling around each other as they collide in increasingly energetic ways. It feels very dynamic, especially with how much the POV jumps around to give them each their own time to shine and to show off how they are Going Through It.
I can't wait for act 2!!!
good game i wish grace would pat me on the head and tell me im doing a good job
absolutely great so far!! the characters are fantastic, providing portraits of people that feel *so* real, i've met and known these people. i know that's such a terribly canned thing to say, but it really is true; the writing is done so well, and the art and music complement it perfectly!! i'm so looking forward to seeing where future chapter(s) take this story!!
This is one I'll be very excited to wait for an act 2!! There's a very compelling realness with which you write these characters, especially Grace, and I adore the art and her design in general. Same for everyone else, but I instantly fell in love with Grace haha. The conversations and slowly building relatioships (in both a good and bad way) were very fun to read, and I feel like these are the types of characters I wanna read more about than just... kids and teens, I guess.
The music was good too, from the tracks I've heard. This looks like it's on the way to be a really solid game once the rest of the acts are done, and I'll be here to play them when they are :D
